How did you get started using Canva, and what inspired you to start creating with it?

I started my own business as a virtual assistant in 2018 and Canva became the most helpful tool ever for me and my clients’ social media channels.

Can you walk us through your design process? How do you approach a new project using Canva?

  • Step 1: Researching content ideas
  • Step 2: Precisely determine the target group for a particular content idea
  • Step 3: Determine appropriate format for content
  • Step 4: Set branding for target audience (colors/fonts/photos/elements) and pick them out in Canva.
  • Step 5: Start Designing

How do you keep up with the latest design trends and incorporate them into your work with Canva?

I get inspiration from the internet, Pinterest and social media and then look for colors/fonts/elements.

What do you consider to be your strengths as a Canva Creator, and how do you leverage those strengths in your work?

I notice designs from my surroundings that inspire me every day. I know my frequent target group “women with online business” well.
