What’s New in Canva in August 2024?
Below is a summary of all of the new and updated features and apps added to Canva in July 2024.
Presentations on Domains
Website publish option in presentation doctype is now allows to publish presentation to a domain instead of resizing to Website doctype
Page Specific Share Links
Enabling users to link to a specific page in a multi-page design. Please note: This currently only works with new designs. Older designs will have this capability in the coming months.
Reactions on Sticky Notes
Users will be able to pick emoji reactions to elements inside the editor (Sticky notes only for now.)
“Make a Copy of Design” on Sync Error
Have you ever been editing a design offline for hours only to come back online and your design won’t save? “Save a Copy of Design” allows users to save a copy of their design when encountering a recoverable saving error in the Editor.
Always on Feedback
Always on Product Feedback enables users to submit their feedback and ideas to Canva whenever they want via the Editor.
AI Summaries in Help Center
Users can now ask for help and receive a response to their question, reducing the need to parse search results and read long help articles!
Advanced Charts Match & Move Transitions
Add the Match & Move transition to pages that contain charts of the same type and watch your charts animate from one to another. These new chart transitions are not yet supported in video download.
Create Summary (Previously Magic Summary)
As part of Magic Write, users can now select text, shapes with text, sticky notes, and lines with text to summarize with AI directly on the page or whiteboard.
