What’s New in Canva in July 2024?
Below is a summary of all of the new and updated features and apps added to Canva in July 2024.
Excel Imports for Canva Charts
Previously, the charts data table only has the ability to import CSV files. Now users will have the added ability to import from Excel and TSV files too!
New Chart Blueprints
Canva has launched 8 chart blueprints: proportional stacked bar/row charts, stream chart, unstacked area chart, proportional stacked area chart, categorized bar race chart & simple treemap/packed circle charts. These are variations of existing chart types, to provide our users with more ways to represent the same data!
Bring Your Own Domain Page
Allows users to bring their own domains to Canva outside the editor website publish flow.
Template Category Filter on Creator’s Profile
Users can find templates on creator’s profile more easily by filtering through categories. This facilitates content usage from the profile page for users searching for templates by listing category selections.
New Canva Apps in July 2024
Note that I have not tested any of these apps, unless otherwise noted. Sometimes the apps are useful tools and great time savers. Other times, they’re definitely not.
