What’s New in Canva in May 2024?

Plus, below you’ll find a summary of the additional new and updated features and apps added to Canva in May.
New Animations
Canva now has three new animation styles rolling out: the cinematic Clarify, Succession and Blur!
Collections Carousel
Users can now view collections in the elements tab as a carousel.
Importing Larger PDF Files
Allows users to now import 300MB sized PDFs.
Docs Brand Templates
Users can now create Docs brand templates.
Video Mockups
Users can insert their designs to video mockups/ video templates in addition to photo mockups. (Available via the Mockups App)
New Canva Apps in May 2024
Note that I have not tested any of these apps, unless otherwise noted. Sometimes the apps are useful tools and great time savers. Other times, they’re definitely not.
