You have a business to run.

But you’re wasting so much time inside of Canva trying to create all of your graphics, lead magnets, slide decks, workbooks, and so on that you’re not sure when the marketing part of your business is ever going to happen.

Every time you open Canva, you end up staring at a blank page and you don’t know how to move forward.

You often find yourself making endless revisions, spending hours on a Canva design task that should only take 15 minutes if you knew what to do.

Don’t worry, I’ve got you covered.

Or everything you create looks like cookie-cutter templates.

They’re definitely not the beautiful, branded images and designs you want to create. You know, like the ones your favourite influencer has, that you badly want for your own course or marketing materials.

But then, you’re relatively new to your business and you certainly don’t have the extra marketing budget to be spending on a professional designer.

I see you.

You don’t need to be a professional designer to create beautiful designs.

You just need a trusted source of knowledge and guidance so you can learn how to use Canva to create the materials required to launch your course or support your business.

Please hold while I grab my magic wand.

Your Canva Guide on the Side

Hi! My name is Brenda Cadman and I’m a Canva Verified Expert (one of only 26 in the world!).

As an entrepreneur of over 20 years, I know just how many types of marketing assets business owners need in place these days to support an online business.

And that’s how I got into Canva.

In case you haven’t heard of it before, Canva is a DIY graphic design program that kinda saved my butt when I lost my graphic designer back in 2014.

I came to love it so much that I started teaching business owners how to use the platform and became a Canva Verified Expert!

And that’s what brings me here.

I’m excited to help you learn how to use Canva to create beautiful designs for your course materials or your service based business… even if you’re not a designer.

Frequently Asked Questions

While we will be focusing on the types of graphics and design content that course creators need to launch and support a digital course, you are encouraged to join the program even if you don’t identify as a course creator.

All participants, whether course creators or not, will up-level their Canva skills and design confidence so they can more easily create beautiful graphics and marketing materials to support their business.

Additionally, a brand new “Client Materials” module has been added to the program that is developed with service providers in mind.

If you don’t yet have a visual brand kit set up for your business, the lessons in Module 3 and the support you have access to during the weekly drop-in hours and co-working sessions to help you move forward so that you can create a logo, color palette and font hierarchy to use in your online course.

While I do recommend working with a branding specialist or graphic designer to create your core visual brand assets when budget permits, often a new digital course creator simply doesn’t have the marketing dollars available to make that business investment until they are able to successfully launch their course.

You will receive support in this program to help you create a basic visual brand kit to support your business or course launch.

Yes, you’ll need a Canva Pro plan in order to implement everything taught inside of the course. You can sign up for a 45 day free trial of Canva Pro to try it out.

The good news is that Canva is very inexpensive and it’s definitely less than you’d spend for an hour of a graphic designer’s time.

Ah those blasted currency exchange fees! I totally get it. Even as a Canadian based business, I often bill in US dollars for my courses simply because most of my audience is outside of Canada, and it’s what has worked best for my online courses over the years.

However, you’ll see that you can choose to pay in Canadian dollars instead of US dollars. Please ensure you choose the CAD option on the order page to be billed accordingly.

Enrollment for The Canva Recipe will re-open in March 2023.

The course will focus exclusively on using the desktop browser version of Canva to create your designs.
