If you’ve created a design in Canva that you’d like to share with somebody else so that they can only see the design but not actually edit it, you’ll want to share a link to view the design.

Here’s how you do it.

Start by opening the design you want to share, and then click on the “Share” button in the top right corner.

Next you’ll want to look to this area titled “Link sharing restricted”. The default will likely be “only people added”, so I’m going to change that to “anyone with the link”.

Then, I’m going to change “can edit” to “can view”.

At this point, you can click on the “copy link” button here, and now that has been copied to your computer, and you can easily paste it into an email or wherever you need to share the view link.

Alternately, if I simply want to provide a “view only” link to this design, I could just click on this option in the row below the button. That option may not appear on all design types but if you see it available, it’s a shortcut to get the link we just created.
