If you often reach for the same handful of fonts, Canva’s new Starred Fonts feature is going to save you time by keeping them front and centre.
Here’s how it works:
When you’re in the Canva design editor, select your text box and head over to the font selector. As you hover over any font, you’ll see three little dots appear on the right, and if you click those dots, you’ll notice an option to Star a font.
Once you star it, Canva will automatically create a new section right at the top of your font list called Starred fonts. That means your most-used typefaces are always within easy reach, without additional scrolling or searching.
Changed your mind about a starred font? Just click those three dots again and choose Unstar, and the font will disappear from your Starred section. And if you don’t have any fonts starred at all, that section won’t show up.
Just a quick heads up: only your first three starred fonts will show at the very top of the list. If you’ve starred more than that, you’ll need to click “See all” to view the rest. To get the most out of the feature, it may help you to keep your true go-to fonts in those top spots so they’re always right there without the extra click.
It’s a small feature, but it’s the kind of time-saver that makes Canva feel a little more personalized and makes your workflow a lot smoother.
