Canva’s Blur tool didn’t disappear, it just moved. If you’ve been clicking through the Edit image panel without finding it, the issue is that Blur is now tucked behind an extra step that isn’t immediately visible.
This is a very quick video and the tutorial below shows exactly where it is now and which step most people miss.
Canva is free to use for most everyday tasks, but if you’re ready to unlock the full toolkit (including the Brand Kit, background remover, and premium content) you can start a 30-day free trial here.

If you’ve been looking for Canva’s Blur tool and can’t find it where it used to be, it’s moved, and the new location isn’t obvious if you don’t know where to look.
Select the image you want to blur, then click Edit in the floating toolbar. In the Edit image panel, look for the Tools section. You’ll see a handful of tools listed, but Blur won’t be visible straight away — you need to click See All next to Tools to expand the full list. Once you do, Blur will be there.
That’s the step most people miss. If you don’t click See All, you won’t see it.
